The Ben Youssef Madrasa is located in the center of Medina, and it is considered as one of the biggest madrassas present in the Maghreb. Also, it is worthy of a visit as Ben Youssef Madrasa is one of the fascinating heritage of Marrakech. The Saadian, Abdallah Al-Ghalib built the structure in the 16th century, and the name can be verified by the inscriptions written on the lintel of the main door and that of the prayer room. The 1680 m2 structure has 130 student rooms located within two floors and around the prayer room.
