This large garden is blessed with forty different olive trees. It is a beauty of greenery at the center of Marrakesh. It was created during the middle of the 12th century by the Almohads. The Garden of Menara is the oldest garden in Marrakech which houses olive grove with several palms and cypresses. It is mostly visited by the couples who wish to have a quality moment together. Also, it is sometimes used for picnic mostly by the Marrakchis.
This garden can be entered through the Bab Jdid along the Avenue de la Menara. You are free to join this lane through a taxi or more pleasurable by a carriage to enjoy some sightseeing.
Opening time: opens from 8.30h till sunset.
Prices: It is free to access. However, entrance into the pavilion cost 15dhs.
